- Basically, I was thought to be a boy, so my father was going to name me Gabriel after the angel in bible. Lo and behold I am a "GIRL" so he flipped my name from Gabriel to Tebriel!

- What present evidence in your life makes you believe you're a Christian?
- Because of the continuos change and conviction from the Holy Spirit on a regular basis. I know His voice, and I love his prescence. I see my thirst to grow closer to him, and to be more and more and more like him! Amen.

- People are hurting, people are confused, and people are afraid! I have been and is in all three places. Some may ask how can I speak on these things if I am in them? Simple, whenever I am writing from circumstance to circumstance, the Lord tends to speak to me while he uses me to speak to others. Therefore, I am comforted.
As far as my testimony is concerned, from the jump I thought that I was heaven bound b/c my father pastored several churches, and also I attended church as well. By the time I had hit sixteen I would have been baptized twice, once by my parents decision second out of anxious plea to God (LOOOONG STORY). Hitting sweet sixteen seem to have had a huge milestone in my life, because I figured that at that moment I was to loose my "VIRGINITY" as I use say it. Sadly through this my heart was broken, and this act was beginning to lead to some foolish decisions. That was in May of 99. In Nov. of 99 I visited a church called New Bethlehem Baptist in Bessemer Alabama, and it was there at 16 yrs old I learned that I was not saved. The pastor preached against shackinup (fornication to me), he said it plainly "YOU HAVE BOUGHT YOURSELF A ONEWAY TICKET TO HELL" Conviction gripped my heart so much that I sat frozen in my seat. I began to ask God that if it was him talking to me to have the pastor say "Even if you've been baptized and you are not sure that you are saved, come to the altar." The very next seconds he uttered those exact words. The Lord enable me to believe and repent and turn. My life changed and is still changing every since that day in November. I thank God for the event that took place in my life before I came to know him, it allowed me be humbled low enough to hear him. That day he delieved me from profanity and masterbation.
Yes, I still have ups and downs; saddly even backsliding and teeter tottering. My prayer is to keep pressing against myself, sin, and the world. Amen.

- If an unbeliever wanted to know more about receiving salvation, how would you lead them to Jesus Christ, and what verses would you provide?
- Amen. I would tell them about the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ loves them, and how much he does love them. I would tell them of the evidence of his love (John 3:16), and the cause behind his decision to lay down his life. I would explain the effects of sin, why Jesus hates sin, and the results of sin(Romans 6:23) and (Genesis chpt 3). I would explain the importance of salvation and why is needed(Hebrews 9: 22) and(Isaiah 64:6).

BECAUSE OF LOVE! Wrote this poem and posted it for the contest.
That fell upon two people like this worlds precipitation;
